Refurbishment for Savernake NHS Community Hospital in Marlborough
Celltarga provided contract services to create a special eating disorder unit of the ground floor of the main hospital building. Prior to work commencing, a full type 3 intrusive asbestos survey was carried out, where suspect and confirmed asbestos was subsequently removed.
Scope of works included:
Forming of new offices, consulting room facilities
Private rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities
Refurbishment of areas including waiting areas, staff kitchen and dining room combined with minor external works
New fire doors and access control security doors
New sanitary/washroom facilities with baby change stations
New IT provisions, CAT 2 light fittings for all new and refurbished rooms
Complete redecoration and renewal of finished throughout
Installation of new internal and external signage
Following completion of works, a stringent inspection of all areas followed to ensure cleanliness and that the refurbished areas were finished exactly to plan. Total agreed budget was £180K. The following images show work in progress and the final snagging of fixtures and fittings.
